Mr. Potato Head 

Mr. Potato Head is an iconic figure known for its playful transformation in a child’s hand.  This drawing series is an exploration of identity as Mr. Potato Head vacillates within his space. The exploration of Mr. Potato Head’s identity gives him gravity, while allowing a projection of myself, more levity. These are 4” x 4” charcoal pencil drawings. Installed, they read like a storyboard, a wry nod to our obsession with reality-based television.
