TRUE VALUE Hardware Bags

The TRUE VALUE hardware bags are a hybrid of drawing and sculpture that explores the transformation of natural forms to commodities.  The bag logo, Start Right, Start Here, provides the conceptual base for the selected images.  The drawing depicts the authentic and original expression of an idea of form.  The sculptural expression may be interpreted as humorous or absurd, and is not necessarily a negative commentary, but rather a realization that natural forms are used to create products.  However, there is an implication that our efforts to turn a profit may have a negative impact on our natural resources.
